Get in the spirit of the spooky season and join us for a haunted Oyster Bay walking tour lead by local historian and author Kerriann Flanagan Brosky and paranormal investigator, Joe Giaquinto! The tour kicks off at Theodore's Books with stops at Raynham Hall and The Earle-Wightman House before heading back to the bookstore to listen to EVP recordings from actual paranormal investigations conducted by Kerriann and Joe. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, this is a walking tour after all! Space is limited so registration is required. KERRI FLANAGAN BROSKY is the author of nine books, and has been featured in numerous publications including The New York Times, Newsday, the New York Daily News and Distinction magazine. She has appeared on CBS’ Sunday Morning Show, “Ticket” with Laura Savini, News 12 Long Island, and The Thinking Writer in East Hampton. Kerriann served on the Board of Trustees as First Vice President for the Huntington Historical Society for six years, and she served as a Trustee for the Greenlawn-Centerport Historical Association for three years. Kerriann is the recipient of the Top Advocate for Historic Preservation and Education award from the Oyster Bay Historical Society, the Huntington Heritage Education Award from the Town of Huntington, Woman of Distinction award from the New York State Assembly, and awarded one of the Top 50 Women in Business for 2022 from Long Island Business News. Kerriann is also a food writer, and was a contributing writer for Edible Long Island for five years where she had her own column, “Kerriann Eats.” Kerriann is President Emeritus of the Long Island Authors Group, and is a well-known speaker who draws standing-room-only crowds to her lectures. JOE GIAQUINTO is a computer programmer by day and a ghost hunter by night. He has worked on a series of books with Kerriann Flanagan Brosky under the title of Ghosts of Long Island; he speaks on blogtalkradio weekly on a show called, The Spirit Connection, and has collected numerous spirit photos and Electronic Voice Phenomena. Part of his success is having the ability to understand and communicate with the dead — He is, he said, a medium. Giaquinto is a regular Hampton Bays guy, grew up in the area, graduated from Mercy High School and ran a thriving computer business, Teach Me PC.net.
